Q. Who can have a Stewart County Public Library Card?
A. Patrons ages 14 and up may have a library card. Current address verification will be required. Children under 14 may use their parent's card.


Q. What is the cost of a library card?
A. The first card is free, replacement cards are $5.00 each.


Q. What is the Library's loan period?
A. 2 weeks books & audio cassettes. 5 days for videos & DVD's.


Q. What is the cost of a lost library item?
A. Books: $25.00 Adults $15.00 Children Audio: $20.00 Adult & Children Videos: $15.00 DVD's $20.00.


Q. Can library materials be renewed?
A. Most items may be renewed for one additional loan period. You may renew items while visiting the library or you may renew items calling the library at 931-232-3127.


Q. Who can use the Carlon S. Sills Memorial Conference Room?
A. Any nonprofit organization may use the room at no charge. Reservations may be arranged by calling or stopping by the Library.


Q. How can I make donations to the Stewart County Public Library?
A. The Stewart County Public Library is happy to accept your donation of books, audios, videos and DVD's. The donation are either added to our collection or sold in our Friends of the Library book sale. The library welcomes all donations.


Q. Does the library have computer for public use?
A. Yes, computers are available for public use.


Q. Can I install my own software on library computers?
A. No. Software may not be installed on library computers.


Q. Can I access my e-mail account from the library computers?
A. Yes. If you have a web-based e-mail account, such as Yahoo or MSN you should be able to access your e-mail on library computers. However, library staff cannot provide support for the programs or services we do not administer.


Q. Does the library provide children's programs?
A. Yes. The library offers a wide range of children's programs throughout the year. Visit our Kids Corner.


Q. How can I give a Memorial?
A. Simply write down information containing whom the memorial is given for. Whom you would like an acknowledgment sent to, along with the address. Whom memorial is given by and their address. Make checks payable to Stewart County Friends of the Library. Checks my be mailed to the Stewart County Public Library.
